The Watoto Art Award is an Australian and New Zealand art award for applicants of primary and high school-age. Submissions can be made in any medium such as paint, pencil, photography, poetry, and story writing. High school entrants also have the option of entering a 3 to 4-minute video.
The competition aims to encourage youth to express, through a visual medium, their thoughts (or families), on Watoto Living Hope, Baby Watoto, housemother or child sponsorship.

Watoto is unable to return artwork. Please make sure you have photographed your work before submitting.
Open to all Australian and New Zealand sponsors and their immediate family. All entries must include a signed permission form (see link below).
All Watoto staff, volunteers and their families are excluded from entry.
Winners from each category will receive a $75.00 Red Balloon Gift Voucher or another agreed upon voucher to the value of $75.00. One runner-up (in each category) will receive Watoto Merchandise to the value of $30.00.
Winners will be notified individually and announced in the October Watoto Australia Newsletter.
The decision of the judges will be final.
